Cancellations by Participant
Participants who wish to cancel their registration for an event, program, workshop, course, or service must submit a written request via email to support@isedindia.org. The refund eligibility is determined based on the timing of the cancellation request relative to the scheduled start date of the event or service.
Non-refunded fees: Any non-refunded portion of the payment may be offered as a credit toward future events or services at the discretion of isedindia.org, valid for up to 6 months from the date of cancellation.
How to Request a Cancellation:
- Submit a written request to support@isedindia.org, including your full name, order/registration number, and details of the event or service.
- Requests must be received within the specified timeframes above to qualify for a refund.
- Verbal or phone-based cancellation requests will not be accepted unless followed by written confirmation.
Cancellations or Changes by Organizer
In the event that isedindia.org cancels or significantly modifies an event, program, workshop, course, or service, participants will be notified promptly via email and/or phone.
Options for Participants:
- Full Refund: If an event or service is canceled by isedindia.org, participants are eligible for a 100% refund of the fees paid, including any applicable processing fees.
- Rescheduling: If an event or service is rescheduled, participants may choose to:
- Transfer their registration to the new date at no additional cost, or
- Request a full refund of the fees paid.
- Modification of Event/Service: If the format, content, or delivery method of an event or service is significantly altered (e.g., changed from in-person to online), participants may opt for a full refund or to participate in the modified event/service.
Participants will be given a reasonable timeframe (typically 7 business days) to respond with their preference after receiving notification of cancellation or rescheduling.
Refund Processing
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval. The actual time for funds to appear in the participant's account may vary depending on the payment method and the policies of the payment gateway or financial institution.
- Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during registration (e.g., credit/debit card, bank transfer, or digital wallet). If the original payment method is unavailable, an alternative method may be arranged after verification.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Certain fees, such as payment gateway charges, transaction fees, or administrative costs, may be non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
- Currency: Refunds will be processed in the currency of the original payment. Any currency conversion fees or losses due to exchange rate fluctuations are the responsibility of the participant.
No-Show Policy
Participants who fail to attend an event, program, workshop, course, or service without submitting a cancellation request in accordance with this policy will not be eligible for a refund or credit, regardless of the reason for non-attendance.
Special Circumstances
In exceptional cases, such as serious illness, bereavement, or other unforeseen emergencies, isedindia.org may consider refund requests outside the standard refund schedule at its sole discretion.
To request consideration:
- Submit a written request to support@isedindia.org with supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificate, official notice) within 14 days of the event or service start date.
- Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and decisions are final.
Membership or Subscription-Based Services
For recurring memberships or subscription-based services offered by isedindia.org:
- Cancellation: Participants may cancel their membership or subscription at any time by submitting a written request to support@isedindia.org. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges will be applied.
- Refunds: Membership or subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing cycle. Pro-rated refunds for unused portions of the billing cycle are not provided unless required by applicable law.
- Auto-Renewal: Members will be notified at least 7 days prior to auto-renewal. To avoid renewal charges, cancellation requests must be submitted before the renewal date.
Force Majeure
isedindia.org is not liable for cancellations, delays, or modifications to events or services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
In such cases:
- Participants may be offered a credit for a future event or service, valid for up to 12 months, or
- A full or partial refund may be provided at the discretion of isedindia.org, depending on the circumstances.
Policy Amendments
isedindia.org reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, with the updated "Effective Date" noted. Participants are encouraged to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
By registering for an event, program, workshop, course, or service with isedindia.org, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
